Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy to Appear Together on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

According to NBC Universal MediaVillage, both Rory McIlory and Tiger Woods will be on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, August 18. Bill Cosby will also be in attendance during the show.
Woods has some experience dealing with Fallon, actually losing to the host while playing his own golf video game in New York City a few years ago. Fallon was quick to remind people of that while making his PGA Championship "Tonight Show Superlatives" earlier in the week:
McIlroy was apparently voted "Most Likely to be in a Golf Boy Band Called 'Hole-in-One Direction.'"
The two players are clearly going in different directions in their careers. McIlroy has ascended to the No. 1 spot in the world rankings and has won three tournaments in a row, including back-to-back major titles at the Open Championship and PGA Championship.
This recent success has raised the question of whether the 25-year-old golfer can dominate the sport the way Woods did in his prime.
Benjamin Morris of FiveThirtyEight notes that McIlroy could be a bigger threat than Tiger to Jack Nicklaus' major record of 18 titles:
On the other hand, Woods did not even make the cut at Valhalla after finishing the PGA Championship six strokes over par through two rounds. He has started four tournaments in the past three months since undergoing back surgery, but he has only played all four rounds in one of them, earning 69th place at the British Open.
There are serious questions as to whether the 14-time major winner will ever be able to win another one.
McIlroy did say in an essay on Golf.com three years ago that he did not believe we would ever again see the dominant Woods fans had become accustomed to:
