The fans welcomed Tiger back to Augusta and he even took time out of his practice to acknowledge them. While the fans have moved on, why can't the media realize Tiger Woods did not cheat on you nor did he cheat playing the game of golf and in the end that is all that matters?
No one is perfect—it’s a saying that our little girls hear from Disney star Hannah Montana. Maybe it’s time that we as sports fans start listening. Over the last year Tiger Woods' life has gone into a tailspin, and the media has taken full advantage.
In our world today if you decide to go into sports you might as well put your life on TMZ. There is no hiding what one does behind closed doors because when you are in the public eye the door is always open.
Can’t we just leave the poor bastard alone? Do you not think dealing with his family, his wife, her mother, his mother, isn’t enough punishment? To think that Tiger owes us some kind of explanation is simply insane. This is his personal and private life and we should leave it that way. Tiger was not drinking, was not chased out of the house with a golf club, and was not doing drugs. He stated he was in an accident leaving the house and was given five stitches for a busted lip.
I look at articles such as “Tiger issues apology: does this end the story?” and it makes me think why this is even a story in the first place? I listen to the questions that they ask in the interview and think, I don’t care if Tiger had a damn orgy with golf balls coming out of everywhere; it’s none of my damn business.
