Tiger Woods Misses Cut at 2015 PGA Championship: Latest Comments, Reaction

Woods opened with a 75 and followed it up with a 73 for an overall score of four over. He missed the cut by two strokes at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
The 14-time major champion wasn't eliminated from the tournament until Saturday as the second round was suspended, but that just delayed the inevitable.
As pointed out by ESPN's Darren Rovell, Tiger is in the midst of the worst streak of his professional career:

The 39-year-old theoretically still has about a decade left before he can be completely written off, but Woods has a mountain to climb to even regain a hint of the form he showed in his prime.
This marks the fifth tournament in 10 official starts in 2015 in which Woods has either missed the cut or withdrawn. His best finishes were a tie for 17th at the Masters in April and his last regular PGA Tour outing, when he tied for 18th at the Quicken Loans National.
Nothing promising appears to be on the horizon for Woods in light of his latest setback at Whistling Straits. A good performance in a major could be a point of redemption, but it's hard to expect that since Woods has missed his past three major cuts.
Tiger has attempted to remain positive despite his struggles, but Dan Jenkins of Golf Digest is among those who believe his talk is simply lip service:
