Tiger Woods: Has He Dropped the Ball on the Matter of Sean Foley?

After seeing his press conference at Augusta, answering question, I thought “Why the heck didn't he act like this from the beginning?”
The answer to that question—I still believe—would be: “’Cause then he would not have won 14 majors on 11 years.”
Anyway, one year ago, Tiger was sitting at Augusta at a press meeting far from as relaxed and spontaneous as this one. The fixed questions were gone and the stupid ones was reduced considerably.
Even Tiger's appearance was relaxed, although you can still feel that he loathe some of answers he has to give. And I understand him.
Being asked if he thinks he can get back to being at better golfer again now that he has to be “a better person” too, Tiger was cool and said that he just focused on both.
He even came around the Ian Poulter question in a charming way and not in a smart-ass way as he used to.
I still don’t think he has the game to win the Masters this week, but I put the blame for that on his coach.
Woods is about to grow up, and the ways of Sean Foley and his fitness-philosophical thinking might impress Tiger, but Woods need a friend who can also be a father figure.
He does not need a buddy, who can give smart-ass answers to Tigers ex-coaches and go down the track that his player is trying to move away from.
Mark O’Meara, Butch Harmon and Hank Haney have meant more to Woods than Foley will ever do. They supported Woods with the human touch. No one is better at keeping into shape than Tiger and all the stuff Foley knows, Tiger knows even better.
So why get side tracked by a "modern" coach that can’t teach you anything good?
That is the one question I would like to ask Tiger Woods, and I think it won’t be long before he starts asking himself the same thing.
