Tiger Woods Has Done His Part, Now Let’s Move On

Folks, it’s over and it’s time for us all to move on.

Tiger Woods sat for 34 minutes this afternoon and took every shot the media could take at him without any restrictions whatsoever.

Did he address his relationship with Dr. Galea?

Check.

Did he apologize to his peers?

Check.

Did he come across as honest?

Check.

Did he seem humble?

Check.

Did he talk to reporters rather than talk down to them the way he had before the fire-hydrant incident?

Check.

There was very little Woods did not address during his press conference.

Woods even went so far as to say that before this whole scandal came to a head, he was not having fun playing golf.

“I've won numerous times the last few years, but I wasn't having anywhere near the amount of fun,” Woods said towards the end of his press conference.

“Why? Because look at what I was engaged in. When you live a life where you're lying all the time, life is not fun. And that's where I was. Now that's been stripped all away and here I am. And it feels fun again.”

Woods acknowledged, and if you can believe it, even spoke with the gallery during his morning practice round alongside Fred Couples.

Today was the final straw that can bring closure to this whole ridiculous soap opera.

He’s apologized to his fans, sponsors, peers, friends, and family on numerous occasions.

He’s back to playing professional golf.

And finally, he’s sat in front of a room filled with 200 reporters and answered every single question that was thrown his way.

What more could we possibly ask of the guy?

The only questions he didn’t address were those pertaining to the events of Nov. 27th, but can you blame the guy?
