Tiger Woods’ Half-Brother Earl Arrested for Alleged Bomb Threat

The 58-year-old Woods Jr. works at the building, and he reportedly told police that the phone call was meant as a joke.
According to Breann Bierman of CBS5 in Phoenix, the call came in at 8:30 a.m. local time on Dec 12, and it resulted in the building being evacuated.

He simply responded by saying that it was a "joke with co-workers."
Per Sasha Goldstein of the New York Daily News, Earl and his famous half-brother don't have much contact. Earl's daughter, Cheyenne, is currently pursuing a career in golf as she turned pro last year, however.
Despite the rocky relationship between Earl and Tiger, Earl didn't hesitate to comment on his half-brother's well-publicized personal issues back in 2010.
According to Keogh, Earl claimed that Tiger learned from the experience. "He learned it cost him a lot... it cost him a family," Earl said in an interview with FOX 10's Jude LaCava in 2010, in response to He was Tiger's affair.
Earl is used to Tiger making headlines, but the roles are suddenly reversed. He is obviously in the news for all the wrong reasons, and the fact that his brother is Tiger Woods ensures that the story won't go away any time soon.
It remains to be seen what type of punishment Woods Jr. faces, but he was booked on suspicion of attempting to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass others, Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Trent Crump told the Associated Press (via ABC 15).
