Tiger Woods: Golf Legend Surges in Final Round to Take 2012 Memorial Tournament

That's right—Woods surged in the final round, shooting a 67 to finish the tournament at nine-under par and earn himself a much-needed win. Via NBC Sports:

Woods was four off the lead heading into the day, but birdied four of the first seven holes and three of the last four to earn himself a victory. He only bogeyed two holes on the day.
Spencer Levin led to begin the day at eight-under, but fell apart on the back nine, bogeying three holes and double-bogeying another. He finished tied for fourth place after a disappointing final round of 75.
Andres Romero and Rory Sabbatini tied for second at seven-under par.
Much like he became the popular pick to win the Masters after winning the Arnold Palmer Invitation just prior, Woods will probably be the sexy pick to win the U.S. Open after his performance in Dublin, Ohio.
