Tiger Woods: First Win Is a Sign That Tiger Is Finally Back

Following leg injuries and family woes, many had wondered when Tiger would finally return to top form. With this victory over the field, it is fair to say that Tiger is back and ready to compete on a consistent basis.
Woods' first victory since September 2009 is a huge step in the right direction. It took much longer then some had anticipated, but the turnaround has finally arrived. Now the question is how long will it take for Tiger to win an Open or Masters title.
While Woods lost a lot of fans following the choices he had made with his life, there is no doubt that Woods is still the most popular golfer in the world. Without Woods, golf has never been able to have the same success. In a sport of many players, there aren't too many who are true superstars.
The golf world needs Tiger, and his turn-around this year is important in keeping people into the sport.
Tiger has shown much success this year, following a horrid 2010.
As many know, golf is an extremely mental game, and it is nice to see that Tiger is back in shape mentally. Now that he has proven that he can think clearly, the rest of the field has to be scared.
There is no doubt that Tiger can take the field at any time, and going into 2012 he will once again be the most feared golfer on the tour. When healthy, he can win any tournament, and he looks to be returning to that form. If anyone wrote off Tiger, they were foolish.
Tiger is back, and he should be playing in many more tournaments for the 2012 season. There is no doubt that Tiger has a plan, and that plan is to regain his spot at No. 1 in the world.
