Tiger Woods Eye-Balling the Masters as His Return to the PGA Tour

That's where I have to say that this is the wrong time for Tiger to make his return. The wrong time and the wrong tournament. He hasn't played in a tournament since before his infamous crash on Thanksgiving night, doesn't he need a smaller tournament to get his golf feet under him? Doesn't he need a tournament on a smaller scale just to make sure he is who he has been all these years?
In a way, I can see how this makes sense to Tiger, especially with the controlled environment that the Masters is. The passes that are handed out have been handed down through generations and they are coveted by those who have them. Heckle any golfer, especially Tiger, and that pass could be revoked for good. Something most people aren't willing to chance.
So, in a sense, by returning at The Masters Tiger is able to better control the environment around him. However, don't expect Tiger not to feel the condemning eyes that will come from the gallery that will undoubtedly follow him around all four days, if he makes it that long.
Not only does he have the galleries to worry about, but how he's received by his fellow players. Some of them who have been particularly critical of his actions will no doubt be part of the tournament field. How will Tiger handle those guys? Does he show up with a hand shake a smile, hoping they'll shake his hand in return?
There has to be a million things running through Tiger's mind, but if anyone can make this kind of return with this kind of fan and media fair, it's arguably the best golfer in PGA Tour history.
