Tiger Woods at Farmers Insurance Open 2013: Day 1 Highlights, Analysis and More

Despite a slow finish to his day, Eldrick Tont Woods finished with a four-under 68, which puts him in a tie for 20th place after one day at the Farmers Insurance Open from the Torrey Pines South Course in La Jolla, Calif.
According to ESPN's Justin Ray, that's a good sign for anyone hoping to see the enigmatic golfer start the year 1-for-1:

He birdied No. 1, and after dropping to one over just three holes later, the 37-year-old caught fire.

Tiger followed that up with birdies on Nos. 8, 9, 12 and 13 to move to six under and one shot off Brandt Snedeker, who shot a seven-under 65 and sits in a tie with K.J. Choi for first place.
At that point, Woods was locked in on the pin, and he was prompting tweets like this one from Norm Macdonald:

In the end, though, Woods finished with an encouraging score on the more difficult South Course and sits well within striking distance,
