Tiger Woods and President Obama Reportedly Play Golf Together for 1st Time

Tim Rosaforte of Golf Digest first reported the news on Twitter that the two will play at The Floridian:
The 44th president of the United States will probably struggle to keep up on the links with the 14-time major champion, but it should be a great event nonetheless.
Obama is an avid golfer and has played very often throughout his two terms. In June of 2012, Mark Knoller of CBS reported that he had played 100 rounds since coming into office.
Of course, it is not all fun and games. He has legitimately been working to get better, even enlisting the help of Butch Harmon to give him lessons, according to Rosaforte.
Harmon coached Woods from 1993 to 2004 and told Rosaforte he's golfed with presidents Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush.
For someone who cares this much about his game, playing with the most popular golfer of his generation should be quite an honor for Obama, and also quite a challenge.
On the other hand, Woods should also feel privileged to be in the company of such an historic figure. The champion golfer must be humbled to be able to spend a few hours chatting with the first African-American president in the nation's history.
In his time in office, Obama has also competed with greats in other sports. According to David Jackson of USA Today, the President played basketball with Scottie Pippen on Election Day.
Apparently, all you need to do to compete against your sports heroes is become President of the United States.
