The Heritage: Who Looks to Gain Ground on Moving Day and Make a Charge?

The 2011 Heritage at Harbour Town in Hilton Head, SC has seen scores go low in the first two rounds. Look for that trend to continue over the weekend.
The overnight leader was a relative unknown player on the tour in Garrett Willis, who fired an impressive seven-under par 65. The last time Willis had a victory on the PGA Tour was in 2001.
Willis didn’t go out on Friday and shoot another 65, but he did stay right in it and posted a 69 and is one shot off the leader Luke Donald heading into the weekend.
Donald, who posted his own 65 today, grabbed a one-stroke lead over Garrett Willis and a host of players that are lining up to make a charge at him on moving day. Donald also stands to become the No. 1 ranked player in the world with a victory here at Harbour Town.
We are going to look at some players that stand to make a move up the leaderboard on Saturday.
There are currently 33 players at four-under par or better. With the way the scoring has gone so far at Hilton Head, I would believe anyone that is within six shots of the lead has a legitimate to contend for the lead.
Some of the players that are close to the lead include: Garrett Willis nine-under par, Camilo Villegas, Jim Furyk eight-under par, Ian Poulter seven-under par, Mark Wilson six-under (par), Graeme McDowell five-under par, Aaron Baddeley and Ricky Barnes at four-under par.
Jim Furyk would be a familiar name at the top of the Heritage leaderboard as he is the defending champion here at Hilton Head. He is only two back heading into Round 3.
Next we have the Aussie Jason Day. Day went out and equaled the lowest round of the day firing a 65 to join Furyk two shots off the lead at eight-under par.
