Looks like Tiger isn't the only one getting "leied" these days. Heck, Geoff Ogilvy got "leied" last year at the beautiful Plantation Course in Maui last year. See picture above for proof! This year shall prove to be an interesting one for golf to say the least. No one knows for sure how the drama surrounding the Woods family is going to officially play out, yet everyone seems to be putting in their two cents. So here's mine: This is mostly wishful thinking on my part, but I predict Tiger makes it back for the Masters this year. He will play in all of the majors, and hopefully at least six other events. Now here is why... 1. He has to give away half his stuff, so he needs to get earning again. He also needs to arouse some new sponsors. The longer he waits, the lower his earning potential becomes over the long haul. 2. Here's part of the self-serving part. I picked him in two golf pools this year. 3. Here's the next self-serving situation. I gamble on golf, hence this weekly article for you following along at home. When Tiger Woods is NOT in the field, the nice juicy high odds that you would see with some excellent players, is now diminished as much as 30 to 40 percent in some cases. Please Tiger, sign the papers, write the check, take care of your kids, get a hooker, and move on (in that order.) Don't worry gang, I am still here for you in these trying times, and promise to deliver quality six packs week after week. If you bet on all of my golfers last year to win AS WELL AS to place in the top five, you would have NETTED 154 units! If you aren't sure what that means, ask any gambler and they will tell you that number is relatively unheard of, especially when it comes to golf. I would like to also throw a few more things at you before we move to my Yahoo! fantasy selections and our six pack for this week.
