Solheim Cup 2013: Most Disappointing Performances at Colorado Golf Club

Europe absolutely crushed the United States in the 2013 Solheim Cup, and there were plenty of poor performances to go around for the women competing on the losing squad.
Many thought the United States would be able to take advantage of a home course at Colorado Country Club, but it was not to be.
Winning in hostile territory for the first time since the event began back in 1990, Europe's 18-10 spanking was the largest margin of victory in the history of the Solheim Cup, as noted by the team's official Twitter account:
Heading into Sunday's singles matches with a five-point lead of 10-5, Europe never let up to finish with the historic margin.
The following women were being counted on to lead the United States to victory when the tournament began, but once the action commenced, they were unable to deliver the goods.
Stacy Lewis and Paula Creamer
Lewis entered the Solheim Cup as one of the hottest golfers in the world. With three wins—including her recent victory at the British Open—and 12 top-10 finishes, most analysts dismissed her 1-3 record at the 2011 Solheim Cup.
She was supposed to give the United States a huge boost, but it never materialized. Her only win this past weekend came when she was paired with Solheim Cup veteran—and one of the team's most successful players—Paula Creamer.
Incidentally, this was the only match Creamer managed to win, and the two of them squeaked by the duo of Azahara Munoz and Karine Icher—a match they should have easily won.
The fact that neither player was able to generate points on Day 1 shocked many, including Beth Ann Baldry of Golfweek magazine:
Both key players failed to generate any momentum throughout the event. As a result, the United States lost badly.
