Rory McIlroy Continues Strong Play at Deutsche Bank Championships

He shot a six-under 65, the second day in a row he's done that. He hit six birdies and one eagle.
McIlroy was happy with his performance today: [via BBC]
I'm very pleased with how I played and I'm in a great position.
McIlroy sits atop the leaderboard, two strokes ahead of Ryan Moore. Tiger Woods is still playing his round.
McIlroy showed why he's the best golfer in the world today. Two straight bogeys didn't derail him, as it might with other young golfers.
McIlroy has had just a tremendous year so far. He won the PGA Championship by a record eight shots. He also won the Honda Classic.
He is the youngest multiple-major champion since Seve Ballestros, and the sixth youngest of all-time.
A win this weekend would put him a top of the FedEx Cup Rankings.
Since Tiger Woods stopped being, well, Tiger Woods, the sport has been looking for a new prince of gold. McIlroy may just be that guy.
He's only 23, so his best golf is still ahead of him. He's good looking and dating Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki, the former world No. 1.
So far, he's clean off the field. He's marketable. While he's not American, he should have broad appeal in the states.
As long as McIlroy continues his strong play, he's poised to be the next golf superstar. A win this weekend would go a long way towards that.
