Match 7
Match 7 will feature Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson against Ernie Els and Ryo Ishikawa. While Els holds the course record Ishikawa was too late and frankly, just looked out of place yesterday. Not only does he not know the course, he had little time to practice due to his late arrival.
The Internaionals took an early two hole lead, but they couldn't stave off the Americans who won six of the final 12 holes. A large part of the reason is that Watson and Simpson just mesh together better.
Another day will only add to that advantage. They won't need a comeback today. The Americans will win this match handily.

Match 8
Match 8 sees Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson going up against Aaron Baddeley and Jason Day. Day 1 was a "Day" that went "Badeley" for everyone. Johnson never held a lead. Woods just had a terrible day, joining Steve Stricker in suffering the worst loss in the history of the Presidents Cup. The International pair bogeyed the last two holes to see a win turn into a draw.
US Captain Fred Couples switched up the pairings for today's match, moving Matt Kuchar to pair with Steve Stricker and subbing in Johnson to play with Woods.
Woods has been inconsistent for over a year now and it's unlikely the Baddeley and Day pairing is going to have a similar melt down as they did yesterday. Woods could have a turnaround but unless he does. Look for the Internationals to win this one.
