As a result, the U.S. leads 4.5-3.5 with four more foursomes to be decided on Saturday.
In addition to Friday's suspended matches, there are five four-ball matches and five afternoon foursomes scheduled for Saturday, meaning players, captains and fans will be in for a marathon day of golf.

World No. 1 Tiger Woods has been awfully impressive for the Americans to start the Presidents Cup, winning his four-ball matchup alongside Matt Kuchar on Thursday and teaming with his buddy again on Friday and Saturday morning to beat the South African pair of Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel in foursome action.
Don't expect Tiger to slow down on Saturday. After all, the team environment is a nice change of pace for many competitors, but especially for one as over-scrutinized as Woods.
