Phil Mickelson Chasing Records at Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Despite the taxes, Mickelson seems to like beach front property, especially the northern part of the west coast.
Mickelson is the defending champion this year and has won the AT&T Pro-Am four times during his career. His first win came in 1998 followed by three more wins in the 2000's including; 2005, 2007 and 2012. He is currently tied with Sam Snead's record of four wins.

Mickelson leads a strong field of pro players this week. Dustin Johnson, Jim Furyk, Brandt Snedeker, Hunter Mahan and Lee Westwood will all be competing.
Besides an impressive field of pros, the AT&T Pro-Am boasts a golf-loving field of celebrity players as well.
Wayne Gretzky, Andy Garcia, Ray Romano, Tony Romo, Andy Roddick and tournament veteran Bill Murray are all scheduled to play.
Playing alongside celebrities can be a distraction to some players but Mickelson has a successful history here.
Though Mickelson may like his chances at the AT&T based on his past experience, he will be competing against another former champion Dustin Johnson.
Johnson won the AT&T Pro-Am back in 2009 and 2010. Johnson may not be as fond of his memories at Pebble Beach as Mickelson though.
The flashes of Johnson's final round of the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach has to play in the back of his mind whenever he visits the famed course.
Though Johnson has a blight memory of the location, he should take pride in the fact he is one of only 12 players who have won the AT&T more than once. Mark O'Meara has won five times and currently holds the record with the most wins at the tournament.
