Saturday was moving day at the HP Byron Nelson but not everything moved or at least not much.
The lead score at the start of the day was 10-under par shared by Cameron Beckman and Blake Adams.
The lead score at the end of the day was 12-under par after a brilliant 67 by Jason Day.
Day started the day in third place one stroke behind and finished the day two strokes ahead of Blake Adams (70) and three strokes ahead of Jeff Overton (69).
Five strokes back are Mark Hensby (64), Kenny Perry (66), and Tom Pernice Jr. (66).
Sunday looks to be a lot like Saturday —more wind and firmer conditions making scoring more difficult the later the tee time.
Hensby's 64 was matched by Arjun Atwal and both had early morning tee times (8:51 a.m. and 8:03 a.m., respectively) compared to the final group at 12:45 p.m.
Atwal is tied for seventh place, six strokes back with Heath Slocum (65, 9:27 a.m.), 16-year-old amateur Jordan Spieth (67), and Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin (69).
It's a horse race with a good chance of someone coming out of the pack firing a low score early and hoping to see it hold up as the leaders struggling to make the clubhouse.
The 2010 HP Byron Nelson has been the story of old and young.
The youngest in the field, Spieth played with the oldest Tom Pernice Jr. (50) in Round 3.
On Sunday, he will be paired with the next to oldest Corey Pavin (50), who is 41 days younger than Pernice.
