PGA Tour Championship 2012: Day 4 Leaderboard Updates, Highlights and More

Snedeker needed to win the Tour Championship at East Lake in order to beat out Rory McIlroy for the FedEx Cup and he certainly seized the opportunity, shooting a 68 in the final round to finish the tournament at minus-10 for the victory.

Snedeker edged out Justin Rose, whose 71 on Sunday doomed his hopes of winning the tournament.
Snedeker was impressive throughout the tournament. After shooting a 70 in the second round, he came back with a 64 in Round 3, highlighted by six birdies and the rest pars.
Both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy each had an opportunity to win the FedEx Cup with a win on Sunday but dissolved as the final round went on.
Woods and McIlroy made headlines this week after Greg Norman told reporters he believed Woods was intimidated by the 23-year-old phenom (h/t ESPN).
What I'm seeing is that Tiger's really intimidated by Rory. When have you ever seen him intimidated by another player? Never. But I think he knows his time's up and that's normal; these things tend to go in 15-year cycles.
Both McIlroy and Woods were quick to squash the rumors of a rivalry or any intimidation factor, to which I believe is more of a mutual respect between two superstar golfers.
Woods finished the tournament at minus-two while McIlroy finished tied for 10th at minus-one, with both golfers shooting in the 70s to close out the final round of the tournament.
This marks Snedeker's second title of the year and it's got to mean a lot to do it against guys like McIlroy and Woods....
