Friday's second round will provide cuts that decrease the field almost in half, as there are some big names on the verge of seeing their respective tournaments end early.

Predictions Don't Expect Another Big Round from Walker
Walker spun together his finest round at a major with a five-under 65 on Thursday, but he didn't make it easy.
According to the Golf Channel, Walker was scrambling on 85.7 percent of his holes, which meant he was unable to hit a green in regulation but managed to salvage a par or better.
The PGA Tour showed one of those scrambles on No. 7 via Twitter:
This is a dangerous game to be playing, though, especially in a world-class field that will be able to take advantage of any mistakes he makes.
If Walker is unable to find the greens more often on Friday, he could see his lead evaporate quickly on Friday.
McIlroy Will Miss The Cut
The No. 4 golfer in the world, Rory McIlroy, faces an uphill battle on Friday after he shot a four-over 74 in the first round.
He went without a birdie in his first 18 holes, as he was let down by his putter. His driving accuracy and greens-in-regulation percentage were well above the field's average on Friday, but he had to attempt 35 putts on the afternoon, an average of almost two per hole.
