PGA Championship 2014 Schedule: Day 3 Tee Times, TV Coverage, Live Stream, More

McIlroy is nine-under and atop the leaderboard after two days of golf at the 2014 PGA Championship. He's not running away with the tournament like he did at the Open Championship in July, but his play has drawn superlatives from those in attendance.
The 25-year-old's clutch eagle on the 18th hole Friday has made all the difference for him in the standings, although that hole is just one example of his excellent display. Not even the slick grass and heavy rain could derail his excellent first half of the tournament.
He holds a one-stroke lead over Jason Day and the ultra-calm Jim Furyk, while major-tournament extraordinaire Rickie Fowler lurks at seven-under heading into the weekend.
The big names are crowded at the leaderboard's summit, which should make for some highly entertaining golf over the weekend in Louisville, Kentucky.

McIlroy already has three majors at the ripe, young age of 25, but capturing the PGA Championship this weekend would really help him turn the corner and reach a level of stardom that extends beyond the golfing world.
His dominance at the Open Championship this year—in which he shot back-to-back rounds of 66 and finished at 17-under—firmly established him as the game's top young talent, while a win at the prestigious WGC-Bridgestone Invitational kept the momentum going heading into this tournament.
