The forecast for today is partly cloudy with the high expected to be at 88 degrees.
First let's recap what happened yesterday. Fog delayed the start for over three hours and 78 players were still on the course when play was suspended because of darkness.
Leading the pack are lefty Bubba Watson from Florida and Italian Francesco Molinari with a -4, both completed their opening rounds.
Also sharing the lead are Ernie Els and Matt Kuchar through 14 holes, as well as, Nick Watney through 11.
Tiger Woods finished the course one-under 72. It was a reason to celebrate since Tiger finally broke a career-worst streak of seven straights starts without breaking par.
Other early favorites Phil Mickelson and youngster Rory McIlroy found themselves 1 under par when play was suspended for the day.
Round 1 will resume at 5 a.m. PST, but blog coverage will begin at 6 a.m. PST when second round action begins.

Can Bubba or Franceso Molinari keep it up?
Bubba faltered after a strong start and ended the day 3-under and Molinari ended the day 4-under after only 5 holes.
Which Tiger Woods will show up?
Tiger showed his fighting spirit. Only six holes of golf and Tiger was even par for the day. Any other golfer no named Tiger Woods would be well over par.
While his long game failed him, it was his short game at its best. He looked a lot better today than his horrific showing at Bridgestone.
How will Lefty deal with his injury?
He says he's alright. Lefty shot 73 in the first round and came back with a 69 in the second round.
More importantly, is there going to be more fog?
Yes, play was delayed for 2 hours and 40 minutes.
