Paul Lawrie Match Play 2015: Scores, Updated Bracket and Highlights from Friday

After an excellent victory in the first round, Paul Lawrie fell victim to compatriot Chris Doak as he bowed out of his own competition in a narrow match.

Lawrie began brightly as he birdied the third, but some excellent play from Doak saw him pull level and then ahead with birdies at the fourth and sixth.
The Scots alternated birdies for five holes, with Lawrie twice equalising on the seventh and ninth only for Doak to respond in kind on the eight and 10th.
Doak extended his lead on the 13th to two up, and though the host halved the deficit with a birdie on the 14th, Lawrie could not find his way back into the match as both players recorded pars for the remainder.
In a slight upset, Johan Carlsson knocked out No. 1 seed James Morrison in an exciting encounter.
The Swede raced into a two-shot lead as he hit three birdies in the first five holes to Morrison's one, and extended his lead further with birdies at the 10th, 11th and 13th.
Three consecutive birdies for Morrison then saw the Englishman roar back into contention. As the European Tour's official Twitter feed captured, Morrison's strong play in his late comeback demonstrated just why he was the top seed:
However, his hopes were quickly dashed when Carlsson hit this excellent chip at the 17th:
In one of the most fascinating matches of the day, American Peter Uihlein defeated Fitzpatrick in 19 holes.
The two players were evenly matched throughout and could not be separated after 18 holes.
