The hourly forecast calls for more wind as the day rolls along, starting at 22 mph and moving as high as 26 mph into the afternoon. Whether players are teeing off early, late or both, they'll be dealing with the elements.
The adjustment has been tough for many golfers in the mix who aren't used to playing in Europe, but it's even bad for those locally, as Richie Ramsay noted from Friday:
The winds inevitably make things difficult from anywhere on the golf course. On the tee box, golfers will have to adjust their shots to account for it, approaching these flexible par-four holes in different ways than they could have Thursday or Friday.
