On Tiger Woods and Brit Hume

I decided to write this article, because I wrote an article about Woods several weeks ago, in which I started off by saying my major philosophy in life is, "Treat your neighbor as you'd treat yourself," and that was how I approached the article.
To some, that would suggest that I think Woods *must* convert to what I believe, when that was not the intent.
My main reason in saying that is because I, as a Christian, have long been troubled by what I see as hostility from white Christians to the concerns of black communities. Many of those concerns often (not always) lead African-Americans to Christianity.
For one, Christ was born a slave and was brutally killed for breaking an unjust law.
I think some people have trouble in hearing this, but I openly state my opinions, and by no means do I think that someone *must* agree. My convictions are vertical; if I state what I think to someone else, that is horizontal.
There are also people in life who have the ridiculous notion that, if you state what you believe or walk your talk, then you are "forcing" that onto someone else, just simply because you stand by your convictions, and know how to respond to questions they thought were rhetorical.
I realize that can be intimidating to people who prefer to dwell in the gray area, because on one hand, you can't truly say who's right and who's wrong, but at the same time, everyone has a right to live by what he or she believes, so long as everyone doesn't commit acts of violence or vandalism.
