The Swedish golfer scooped the winner's cheque at the €2.7 million competition in the heart of the Swiss Alps, carding a final round of 65 to tie the scores on 17 under with the consistent Australian.
Noren sank a difficult long putt on the single play-off hole, while Hend laid up short of the flag.

Comprehensive final rounds from Hend and Noren left the pair tied at the top of the standings as they held off the field in Switzerland.
Noren was five under on the final day, and Hend carded an effort of four under to force a play-off.
Hend had been exceptional through the competition and scored five birdies during his final round. However, Noren matched his best with seven birdie putts on Sunday, posting four in a row on the front nine.
The pair could not be separated at the end of play on 17 under, triggering a play-off situation on the 18th hole.
Noren's approach landed on the green, leaving Hend with a chip from the edge. His shot was several feet short of the cup, leaving Noren a long putt to win—and the Swede was up to the task in hand, as he won the day.
Noren held his nerve to sink his effort, and his friends and supporters sprayed him with champagne as he celebrated with his family.
There were several strong finishes, as two of England's best fought for position in the latter stages.
