Masters Odds 2016: Locating Top Vegas Bets in Thursday’s Field

In some ways, it's a bit easier at one of the sport's four major tournaments. Trying to determine a top professional's motivation each week is difficult to figure out, but all golfers know that a victory in a tournament like the Masters or the U.S. Open will impact their legacies.
So, it's a matter of figuring out which golfer is on the top of his game and whether the tournament fits his swing. A major challenge indeed, but one that we will endeavor.
Because the motivation level for all golfers involved is so high, we can look at the best and highest-ranked players and make a case that they have the best chance to win.
There's no golfer who appears to be a better bet at the Masters than Jason Day. He has the complete game that few of the other stars can match, he is red-hot coming into the tournament and he made a major statement last August when he won the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.
Great players are capable of winning two consecutive majors, and Day fits that description. He picked up victories in his last two events in March, and Day is the No. 1-ranked player in the World Golf Ranking.
Day is averaging 304.1 yards per drive, and that ranks 20th on the tour, and he combines his big hitting with accurate putting. He ranks third in strokes gained putting, and that ability will bolster his chances for picking up his first green jacket.
