Jordan Spieth at Deutsche Bank Championship 2016: Sunday Score and Reaction

Spieth headed for the clubhouse on moving day in a tie for 23rd. He shot a one-over 72 for the round. It was his worst single-round score of the tournament and dropped him back to five under overall.

Spieth dug himself into an early hole after bogeying his first three holes of the round. It was an uncharacteristically poor stretch from the 23-year-old, who had carded three combined bogeys through the first two rounds of the tournament.
Spieth made up some ground with a birdie on the fifth hole. He nearly holed out on his approach from the rough after the ball bounced just to the left of the pin. The PGA Tour shared a replay of the impressive shot:
From there, Spieth sunk what was roughly a six-foot putt to move to two over for the round.
He gained another stroke with a birdie on No. 10 but then undid all of his progress with a double bogey on the 12th hole. His tee shot flew well right of the fairway, and he needed five shots just to reach the green. He limited the damage by finding the bottom of the cup on his first putt.
After parring Nos. 13 and 14, Spieth earned his third birdie of the round on the 15th hole. He did the hard work on his approach, dropping his shot a little under 10 feet from the flagstick. From there, he left himself a makeable putt to improve to two over for the round. A birdie on No. 18 also allowed Spieth to close out his third round on a positive note.
While he's on his way to a potentially disappointing finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Sunday wasn't the end of the world for Spieth. Barring injury, he can still successfully defend his FedEx Cup crown. The odds are agai...
