Jordan Spieth at British Open 2016: Saturday Leaderboard Score, Twitter Reaction

Having started the day on four-over par for the tournament, Spieth got off to a flyer, with four birdies in the first seven holes. But the course's treacherous turn and brutal back nine proved tough to master for the 22-year-old, as he dropped five shots from the ninth to tumble back down the leaderboard.
The American endured a difficult day on Friday, as he shot 75 and only just made the cut for the weekend following an opening round of 71.

Spieth Fails to Make Strong Start Count After his disappointing showing on Friday, the 22-year-old said he felt like “one or seven pints afterwards,” per the Neil McLeman of the Daily Mirror. So it was no surprise to see Spieth play in aggressive fashion on Saturday morning.
He got off to a brilliant start, knocking in a birdie at the first. It was a putt that seemed to enliven Spieth, who embarked on a prosperous run from this point.
As noted by Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, another birdie followed at the third, and the youngster was looking much more at home in the windy conditions:
Another chance for birdie slipped by at the par-five fourth after a disappointing three-putt. But Spieth was swinging very well at this juncture, and following a par at the fifth, he hit a fine approach into the the par-five sixth, with his eagle putt coming just short.
