Jason Dufner Wins the HP Byron Nelson Championship

Dufner shot a three-under-par 67 today to finish with a total of 11-under-par for the tournament and take the winner's $1.17 million paycheck and earn his second win in three weeks. He won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on April 29.
Dickey Pride finished in solo second place at 10-under-par, and then there was a four-way tie for third place at nine-under-par between Jonas Blixt, Joe Durant, J.J. Henry and Marc Leishman.
Among some of the notables, Phil Mickelson shot a four-under-par 66 to finish T7 at six-under-par. Jason Day finished T9 at five-under-par and Players Championship winner Matt Kuchar finished T15 at four-under-par.
Dufner was playing on the final group with J.J. Henry who had the lead at 11-under-par going into the 17th hole. But Henry missed terribly the par-putt and ended up with a double bogey to fall to nine-under-par.
Dickey Pride was then the co-leader with Dufner while playing ahead in the 18th hole when he drove his tee shot into the water and had to take a penalty shot.
Pride's approach shot went to the top-right side of the green just over 22 feet from the cup and from there he was able to make the par-saving putt and take the clubhouse lead at 10-under-par.
But Dufner, who hit the ball beautifully all day, then ripped a confident-looking, massive 314-yard tee shot on the 18th hole right on the middle of the fairway. From there his approach shot was almost identical to Pride's as he left it on the same top-right hand corner about 25feet away.
He proceeded to sink the birdie putt and take the championship. Dufner really went for the championship and is playing his best golf.
