Greenbrier Classic 2012 Leaderboard: Webb Simpson and Others Who Will End Strong

While we didn't get to see Tiger Woods play on the final day of the tournament, there are plenty of competitors to be excited about on Sunday.
Defending U.S. Open champion, Webb Simpson is the leader at 15-under, one stroke ahead of Troy Kelly. Simpson's fourth PGA Tour victory is in reach, but is far from a foregone conclusion.
If he wants to pull away from the field and take home this year's title, he needs to take his play to the next level, as there are multiple golfers within two strokes that are still in the early stages of their final round.
A strong finish is will prove necessary for victory at the 2012 Greenbrier Classic. Not just for Simpson, but for everybody still in contention.
Here are three players who will be able to do exactly that.
Webb Simpson
Simpson is on the back end of his front nine and has recently regained the lead after falling one stroke behind Kelly. He's posted just one birdie on Sunday, but fortunately for him, that was the trend in his first three rounds.
He didn't birdie holes one through five in any of the first three rounds, but he birdied the seventh hole on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Simpson has notched 10 birdies on the back nine over the last three days, which bodes well for his chances at pulling away from Kelly.
Troy Kelly
Kelly is already well on his way to finishing strong, already putting three birdies on the board before his front nine ended.
He has hit 75 percent of the greens in regulation, and will need to continue to hover around that number if he doesn't want to fall behind Simpson.
