Grand Slam of Golf 2013: Round 1 Predictions, TV Schedule and Live Stream Info

Phil Mickelson, who won the British Open this summer, declined his invitation to play to in this week's PGA Grand Slam of Golf at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, due to scheduling issues. His place in the field will be taken by the event's defending champion, Padraig Harrington.
Meanwhile, the other three major winners are here and are all making their first appearances at the event. Masters champ Adam Scott, U.S. Open winner Justin Rose and PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner will square off Oct. 15-16 for 36 holes of tournament play and a $1.35 million purse.

Predictions
The golfers and spectators are going to have a great time. How could they not? While the majority of us hunker down for winter, the folks at this event will be enjoying a tropical setting like this:
As for the golf, I like Dufner and Scott in this event, and I expect both to get off to fast starts.
Both of golfers ended this year's tour in fine form, and both should still have an edge after participating in the recent Presidents Cup.
Scott was one of this year's most consistent golfers, so he is a solid pick for any tournament he enters. I see Scott taking the first-round lead with a 66 and Dufner right behind him at 67.
