2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose leads the pack with a four-under-par 67. Jason Dufner and Adam Scott are within three shots of the lead.
Harrington is the only golfer in the tournament who doesn't rank in the world top 10. In fact, he doesn't even rank in the top 100 these days (No. 101).
But we've seen the veteran from Dublin have great success at the Grand Slam of Golf in the past, so we certainly can't count him out just yet.
Here's a look at how the first round unfolded in Southampton, Bermuda.

Through 11 holes, Scott and Rose were tied for the lead at four under par. Scott posted birdies on Nos. 2, 3, 5 and 7. Rose notched birdies on Nos. 1, 4, 5, 7 and 10, while registering a bogey on No. 9.
Dufner was right behind the two at three under par through 11 holes, and he birdied Nos. 2, 3, 7 and 8.
It wasn't a bad view from No. 8, either.

Harrington got off to a rough start, scoring three bogeys to two birdies through the first nine holes. He was one under par through 11 holes.
Rose took the lead through 12 holes after a birdie and Scott's par.
It wasn't long before Scott and Dufner joined Rose back on top of the leaderboard, though. Rose's bogey on No. 13 got Scott back into the match, and Dufner's birdie put pressure on the former leaders.
