Graeme McDowell Makes Eagle from 213 Yards at RBC Canadian Open

The Northern Irish pro shot five under during his second round at Royal Montreal Golf Club, but his finest moment of the tournament came on Day 1 when he dropped in an eagle from somewhere near Saskatchewan.
PGA.com’s John Holmes spotted video of the shot. McDowell clubbed the ball in from 213 yards out on the difficult 11th hole. He landed it in pillow-soft fashion on the green, and the rest was all wild Canadian cheers.
McDowell currently sits in fifth place overall at seven under through two rounds. Jim Furyk and Tim Petrovic share the top spot at 10 under.
Furyk and third-place competitor Graham DeLaet both registered absurd scores of 63 on Friday, each tying the course record with seven-under rounds.
They’re pretty happy with how the course is playing this week.
“When you see putts rolling in from everywhere like it was in our group, you just feel like putting’s easy or something,” DeLaet told Bill Beacon of The Canadian Press (h/t Global News). “It was fun.”
Translation: “Errthang dropping out here.”
As for McDowell, he got to keep his putter in the bag on this occasion. You don't need a short game when you're dropping big birds.
