FedEx Cup Standings 2013: Projections Going into Final Round of BMW Championship

The reason behind this is that once the Fed Ex Cup playoffs begin, the events are worth more and more points.
Currently, Henrik Stenson is the at the top of the Fed Ex Cup standings with 4,051 points. That could quickly change, as the winner of the BMW Championship will be award 2,500 points, shooting them up the leaderboard.
There's just one more tournament after this, so every golfer will be giving it 100 percent in order to gain as many points as they can. Let's take a look at the projected standings going into Sunday and where these golfers could stand before the Tour Championship in a little over a week.

Jim Furyk
When a player shoots a 59 in a round, he's going to get a lot of attention.
Furyk did just that on Friday, and he made history. According to ESPN Stats & Info, he was the first golfer to ever shoot a 59 with a bogey on the PGA Tour.
That 59 certainly helped Furyk quite a bit. He leads the pack at 13 under par, heading into Sunday. He shot a 69 on Saturday, putting up four birdies on the day.
A win at Conway Farms would be huge for Furyk. Currently at 15th in the Cup standings, he has a good chance to move all the way up to No. 3.
There's a lot of pressure on Furyk, but he is going to be in an excellent position after the BMW Championship to try and take the Fed Ex Cup in the final tournament.
