Once Stenson gets done dreaming of how he will spend his $11.4 million in prize money, he might take a moment to sit back and reflect on how impressive it was to beat out one of the all-time great closers in the history of sports.
Obviously, Stenson will be on this list of impressive players.
However, while he walks away as the most impressive golfer from this FedEx Cup, he wasn't the only one who demanded we take notice.

Jordan Spieth
Jordan Spieth made life as a PGA Tour rookie look far easier than it is. Spieth had a fantastic year that included the 20-year-old picking up a tour victory.
Spieth ended that tremendous effort on a high note by finishing second at the Tour Championship and seventh in the FedEx Cup.
In a four-tournament playoff with the best players on the planet battling for the $10 million prize, a rookie should not be able to hang. Of course, Spieth hasn't appeared overwhelmed once all year.
This was not just an impressive display of talent but also mental maturity beyond his years. You better believe people are taking notice.
Steve Stricker
At the age of 46, Steve Stricker may have never played better golf. Although, he's certainly played more golf.
Stricker has made 428 PGA starts in his career, but he only made 12 this year. Despite his light schedule, he still qualified for the FedEx Cup, which was well deserved given his consistency.
While he didn't pick up a win this year, he had three seconds and seven top-10 finishes.
