Woods posted one of the better scores on Friday to take sole possession of the lead through two rounds.
Meanwhile, Snedeker and Choi fell down the leaderboard, while other golfers sprang into contention.

After posting a four-under par on Thursday, Tiger Woods exploded on Friday, posting a seven-under par en route to an 11-under 133 through two days at Torrey Pines.
On Day 2, Tiger posted one eagle and six birdies, including a stretch in which he scored a birdie or better on four straight holes.
Tiger wasn't the only golfer who had a big Day 2, though.
Erik Compton had just one top-10 finish on the PGA Tour last year, but he was on his game on Friday, registering a seven-under par to finish with an eight-under 136 through two rounds at Torrey Pines.
Billy Horschel, who finished 10th at the Humana Challenge, stayed in close proximity of the lead. After being tied for second on Thursday, he found himself in second on Friday, two strokes behind Woods.
Nick Watney continued his steady play, notching a four-under par to close out the first two rounds with a seven-under 137.
