Sung Hyun Park, who was in hot pursuit of Chun on Friday, continued to hang right with the world No. 8 and will have a shot at spoiling her championship aspirations on Sunday after she fired home a 67 to move to 15 under par for the tournament.

After Chun posted 14 birdies in Rounds 1 and 2 combined, it was no surprise to see the South Korean star come out and fire home three birdies over the course of her first eight holes Saturday. However, Chun—who made a single bogey during her first two rounds—encountered an uncharacteristic slip-up on No. 9 when she carded a double bogey that dropped her to one under for the round.
But in resilient fashion, she wasn't fazed by the sloppy close to an otherwise sterling front nine.
Birdies on Nos. 11 and 13 catapulted Chun back to three under for the day, and a chip-in for eagle from just off the fringe on No. 15 solidified her status as the 54-hole leader at the year's fifth and final major.
Park, meanwhile, enjoyed yet another fruitful day after she finished two shots back of the lead at 11 under on Friday.
Although she recorded pars on her first eight holes Saturday, Park notched back-to-back birdies on Nos. 9 and 10 to put the heat on Chun following her double bogey, as the championship's official Twitter account documented:
