The final groups of the day couldn't tee off until well past 5 p.m. local time, but conditions improved during the day, with the greens playing remarkably fast.

Wiesberger didn't let the delay get the better of him, however, as he started the day in excellent fashion with three birdies on his first four holes. The Austrian was flawless on the back nine, and while a double bogey to start the front nine brought his score down significantly, a beautiful eagle-birdie finish saw him end the round with a score of eight-under 63.
He fluffed his one sand save and only converted one of his two scrambles, but Wiesberger's short game was on point, and he needed just 27 putts to complete his round.
