The Swede finished at 25 under par, after a final eight-under round of 64, romping home to yet another triumph in what's been a magical few months.
The convincing win sees Stenson achieve a historic double, becoming the first golfer to claim The Race to Dubai and FedEx Cup in the same season.

Obviously the overall winner has a strong case for most impressive golfer of the week. Stenson continued his inspired late-season form, leading from Day 2 after an imperious round of 64.
Victor Dubuisson kept the gap to just one going into the final day, but Stenson's standard was a cut above the rest of the field.
He mimicked his impressive Day 2 score on Sunday, and his margin of victory was both deserved and unsurprising.
Overall, he dropped just two shots in 72 holes, with 25 birdies and a final-hole eagle adding stardust to his round.
Nobody could keep pace with his relentless scoring, and he deservedly took the title.
