Did Rory McIlroy Drink Jagermeister from the Claret Jug After Open Championship?

This distinction may be changing, however, judging by a picture that surfaced of Rory McIlroy's family celebrating McIlroy's Open Championship victory Sunday night.
@Love_Belfast (h/t J. Camm of BroBible) spotted a picture of what appears to be McIlroy's mother, Rosie McIlroy, overseeing the pouring of Jagermeister into the Claret Jug.
The image appeared to have been taken at a post-Open family gathering McIlroy attended.
A snub-nosed bottle of bad decisions is a far cry from the $40,000 wine Phil Mickelson drank from the Claret Jug this past year. Then again, McIlroy has little in common with the 2013 champ.
The 25-year-old Irishman is very much a part of his generation, as he proved by taking a number of selfies Sunday.
The Open Championship winner called his first selfie with the Claret Jug the "ultimate #OpenSelfie."
McIlroy later proved this claim false by uploading a picture of himself taking a selfie with a crowd of adoring fans and family.
Rest assured that whenever McIlroy posts this picture, it will be the "ultimate #OpenSelfie."
As for the inevitable complaints that McIlroy defiled the Claret Jug with subpar drink, it's important to remember one vital fact: Rory earned it.
What he puts in the Jug is his business. McIlroy could upend a 40-ouncer of Night Train into this hallowed artifact, and as long as it doesn't strip the inner lining (a distinct possibility), he can sip from it with impunity.
Champions decide what champions drink, and they sometimes choose to drink the cloying party nectar of the Jersey Shore.
