Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial 2012: Leaderboard Updates and Highlights

This is one of the few tournaments left on the PGA Tour before the U.S. Open begins in early June, so it's important to play well at this course and earn valuable experience on courses that punish mistakes.
David Toms will attempt to defend his 2011 Crowne Plaza Invitational victory this week as he tries to win his first tournament of the season. Following a disappointing performance at the Masters, the 45-year-old American has played great in his last three tournaments.

With a double-bogey on the final hole, Zach Johnson won the Crowne Plaza Invitational. It is the second time in three years Johnson has won the tournament.
He barely survived against Jason Dufner.
Johnson finished two-over for the day and 12-under for the tournament while Dufner finished four-over for the day and 11-under overall.
Tommy Gainey came in third at seven-under while Jim Furyk was fourth at six-under.
Other notable names include Rickie Fowler, who finished in a tie for fifth, and Sergio Garcia, who finished in 13th.

Zach Johnson is beginning to pull away.
Well, maybe more appropriately stated, Jason Dufner is beginning to drift away. Dufner scored an atrocious seven (triple bogey) on hole No. 15, and now sits three strokes behind Johnson with just two holes to play.
It will take a minor miracle for Dufner to catch Johnson (-14) now.
