In fact, Na is the only player who is double digits under par after 36 holes. Ian Poulter is the only player within striking distance of the 31-year-old at eight under par. No one else is within three shots halfway through the event.

Na has been efficient and opportunistic through two rounds, hitting two bogeys to go along with 12 birdies. The key to his success, as noted by the PGA Tour on Twitter in a highlight video, has been converting long-distance putts:
Even though Na has just one career PGA Tour win, he's been flirting with success often in 2015. The South Korean star has five top-10 finishes in 16 events prior to the Crowne Plaza Invitational, including a sixth-place showing at The Players Championship two weeks ago.
That performance may have been a turning point for Na, who infamously fired a final-round 76 at the 2012 Players Championship.
Speaking to ESPN's Jason Sobel during this year's event at TPC Sawgrass, Na was very open about battling a case of the yips:
I didn't use that word, yips, but I told everyone that I couldn't take the club back. I mean, I was pretty honest. I wasn't trying to cover anything up. ... A lot of the guys, when you have that, they fall off the planet. They play poorly and nobody really sees and hears about it. But the weird case was I was playing one of my best golf and I couldn't take the club back. And the whole world saw me do it, so, believe me, I hear enough about it.
While this year's Players Championship didn't provide Na a chance to fully exorcise his demons, ...
