This was Weekley's third career PGA win, and his first since 2008 as he overtook 54-hole leader Kuchar while firing his second consecutive 66.
Weekley has long been regarded as one of the best ball-strikers on Tour, and he was flashing that form on Sunday as he was sticking most approach shots within 15 feet of the pin.
He missed a few makeable birdie putts, and he actually finished the tournament with -.550 strokes gained-putting.

Kuchar began the day at 11-under and with a one-stroke lead over four golfers, with Boo Weekley among the four. Kuchar birdied the second to drop to 12-under, which actually was just enough for him to keep pace with Weekley.
Boo jumped out to a great start. He earned a birdie on the first and third holes to also sit at 12-under. However, at this point, both players took a step back.
