We came into the year expecting the Big Three to take the next step with Jason Day, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy representing the clear top of the sport. However, Danny Willett surprised everyone with a win at the Masters Tournament in April, and then Dustin Johnson broke through with his first major win at the U.S. Open.
There are still high hopes for the trio of young stars, but there are other players to keep track of over the course of the tournament. Here is a look at how to follow The Open Championship along with a few pairings to follow on Day 1.
