Danny Willett is the only one nipping at D.J.'s heels as he matched Johnson's three-under, but he finished his day before darkness fell. The Englishman will become the biggest story of the weekend if he doesn't fade early in the third round.

Were it not for two bogeys on the back nine, Willett would have been in an even better position and he'd have applied even more pressure on Johnson. As it stands, Willett is still in a good spot to challenge for his first major championship.

Willett is not one of those players who stays away from social media during a tournament. Shortly after his second round concluded, he took to Twitter to address the madness and attention he's getting for being in contention:
He might have an edge over Johnson going into the weekend. Because Willett got his round in before play was suspended, he could theoretically be more rested for a tense two days of golf.
