Per PGA Tour Media, play will resume Friday at 8 a.m. ET as golfers seek to get in as many holes as possible to get back on schedule for a Sunday finish.

Castro flirted with a blemish-free round for most of the day, overcoming the bad weather to shoot eight under par through the first 17 holes. He was on fire on the back nine, hitting five birdies from Nos. 11 through 17.
The only negative came on the 18th hole, where he made a bogey that dropped his score to seven under.
Per Justin Ray of Golf Channel, Castro's success should have been easy to predict based on who designed the course at Crooked Stick Golf Club:
Castro can't get comfortable in his spot, with Brian Harman just one shot behind him at six under par. Jason Dufner, Dustin Johnson and Chris Kirk are tied for third at five under, while Fabian Gomez, Paul Casey, Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama are right behind at four under.
Rory McIlroy, who managed to finish only 10 holes before darkness forced officials to suspend play, sits at three under. He picked up where he left off after winning the Deutsche Bank Championship on Sunday.
McIlroy wasted no time getting under par, hitting this birdie putt on the first hole, via the PGA Tour:
It was the first of four birdies on the front nine. McIlroy bogeyed the par-four eighth hole but was otherwise stellar Thursday.
Right behind McIlroy at two under is Jordan Spieth. The Texas native is in search of his first PGA Tour victory since May and just his third of the season.
