BMW Championship 2013: Weather Pushes Final Round to Monday

Kelly Tilghman of the Golf Channel shared this gloomy picture of the conditions:
In all, 22 players did not tee off in the third leg of the four-stage FedEx Cup Playoffs.
So, the top of the leaderboard has remained unchanged from the end of Round 3. Jim Furyk has the lead all by his lonesome at 13-under par. That is good for a one-stroke lead over fellow veteran Steve Stricker and a two-stroke lead over defending FedEx Cup champ Brandt Snedeker.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the tournament will be completed on Monday, either. According to Weather.com, Monday's forecast for the course calls for a 30-percent chance of rain with a "few showers."
If it is truly just a few showers, there should be plenty of time to get the round in.
As for the action that actually did hit the course, Adam Scott helped his cause by going three-under through 10 holes.
After firing a 75 on Saturday, Scott was even-par on the day through six holes. He then caught fire and sank three straight birdies to close out the front and and followed that up by parring No. 10 as play was called off for the day.
This was good enough to push Scott to one-under for the tournament in a tie for 33rd. Unfortunately, he is still 12 strokes off the pace.
On the bright side, Scott did enter this tournament third in the FedEx Cup standings.
FedEx Cup leader Henrik Stenson did not tee off on Sunday. He sits at four-under and is tied for 18th.
