Barclays Golf Leaderboard 2013: Early Risers on Day 2 at Liberty National

While many of the top players in action are still out on the course, there are plenty of players who can go into the club house, sip on some tea and know that they are in a good position to contend this weekend.

While Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose are among those who have yet to put in their final say on the leaderboard, these players made big statements with their play early in Round 2.
Rickie Fowler
Fowler hasn't had the strongest of seasons this year, he has just four top-10 finishes and no wins.
It looked like that trend was going to continue in New Jersey on Day 1 as he fired a 71, which put him at even par for the day. That might cut it at a major, but with many players finishing below-par, he found himself at T-59 on the leaderboard.
Day 2 told a different story.
The 24-year-old found a rhythm on the course on Friday. Most notably, he was much more accurate off the tee. He went from a driving accuracy of 35.7 percent on Day 1 to 71.4 percent on Day 2.
As Justin Ray of ESPN points out, it resulted in his best round of the year as he finished at seven-under on the day.
Keegan Bradley
As great as Fowler's day was, it was Keegan Bradley that took the biggest leap up the leaderboard on Friday. After shooting a 72 to open the tournament he fired a 63 on Day 2.
